Bazarpash finally became a minister – Tejaratnews


According to Tejarat News, Bazarpash became the Minister of Roads and Urban Development.

In today’s (Wednesday) public session of the parliament, the representatives of the Islamic Council reviewed Mehrdad Bazarpash’s qualifications to hold the position of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and finally handed over the helm of the ministry to Mehrdad Bazarpash.

On Sunday of this week, the letter introducing Mehrdad Bazarpash as the proposed Minister of Roads and Urban Development was announced at the public meeting of the Islamic Council.

Mehrdad Bazarpash was a representative of the people of Tehran in the Ninth Parliament and in August 2019, he was elected as the head of the Court of Accounts by the vote of the members of the parliament.

After the defense of Mehrdad Bazarpash proposed by the Minister of Roads and Urban Development in today’s session of the parliament, the members of the government delegation left the Islamic Council with the announcement of Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf.

Then the voting papers were distributed among the representatives, in these papers, three options for agreeing, opposing and abstaining are included.
