Began to join the Association of Theater Critics, Writers and Researchers

According to Fars News Agency, quoting the public relations of the association, the acceptance of applicants’ documents will start from May 1st to 15th of this year and will not be extended. After accepting the documents of the membership applicants, the board of directors of the association will review the files until the first half of June of this year and announce the results to the applicants.

All critics, writers, researchers and media activists in online or offline media who are active in preparing and publishing news, reports, notes, translations, research and critique in the field of theater, through the necessary steps in due time and if they have general conditions The following can become affiliated members of this union:

1- Having Iranian citizenship.

2- Having at least five years of continuous work experience and at least four works published each year for theater media activists or three research works for theater researchers. (Only a copy of the applicant’s work and the document of the year of publication of the work are considered; refrain from sending the full copy of the publications.)

Other required documents:

Copy of all pages of identity card, copy of national card, copy of last diploma, four 3-in-4 photos, personal and professional resume (typed), submission of membership application form (which follows this call).

3- Accepting and committing to implement the provisions of the articles of association and legal approvals of the members of the trade union association and accepting their results.

4- Not being a member of other provincial or national trade unions and associations affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance or the Performing Arts Association, which are working in similar fields and in parallel with this trade union in the field of theater and media.

5- Submitting the membership application and the necessary documents (confirming their professional activity in the professions related to the activity of this association) in due time (May 1st to 15th of each year) or successful participation in the annual competition of the association (gaining rank or candidacy in any section Of the Association’s press competition by the jury).

6- Attending the interview session and evaluating the case and confirming their membership application by the majority of the board of directors at the time.

7- Payment of entrance fee and membership fee of the association (after the approval of the board of directors of the association).
