Beware of profiteers’ insurance traps

According to the Monetary and Financial News, quoting the General Directorate of Public Relations and International Affairs of the Central Insurance, in this announcement, it is stated: Due to the increase in medical expenses and the importance of insurance coverage, many telephone calls are made with citizens and Al-Hawiyeh unknown persons introduce and offer unidentified insurance products.

According to this announcement, in case of contact with the profiteers, the requested citizens should be immediately notified to the Central Insurance via the telephone number 2342, so that the necessary action can be taken by using the legal capacities of the violators.

The Insurance Industry Supervision Authority is a regulatory, guidance and support body and has no products for sale and no contact is made with the citizens by the central insurance staff in this regard. At the end of this announcement, Central Insurance advised citizens to use the capacity of licensed insurance agencies and agencies to prepare their insurance policies.

It is worth mentioning that the case of some unauthorized centers and persons who have misused the name and title of Central Insurance is being followed up by legal authorities.
