Biden: We will not leave the Middle East

US President Joe Biden said on Saturday in Saudi Arabia that America will remain an active and committed partner in the Middle East and asked the leaders present at the Arab Summit to consider human rights as a powerful force for economic and social transformation.
In his speech at this summit, Biden claimed: America is committed to building a positive future in the region and working with all of you.
The President of the United States announced: America is not going to leave the region.
Biden claimed: We will not stand aside until China, Russia and Iran fill it by creating a vacuum. The United States will remain an active partner in the Middle East.
Biden also repeated the claims against the Islamic Republic of Iran and said that Iran will never get a nuclear weapon.
On the last day of his trip to the Middle East, the President of the United States promised the audience at the Arab Summit in Saudi Arabia that Iran will never produce or possess a nuclear weapon.
He also claimed that he will act in the direction of peace and cooperation not only in the Middle East but also in the whole world. Biden also claimed that he will implement the human rights specified by the United Nations.
Biden claimed that Washington will not allow any foreign or regional power to interfere with freedom of navigation in the region’s waterways.
In his first trip to the Middle East as president, the US President met with the leaders of six Persian Gulf countries and Egypt, Jordan and Iraq on Saturday.
The meeting between Biden and Mohammed bin Salman has drawn criticism in the United States due to Saudi Arabia’s history of human rights violations, especially the brutal murder of Jamal Khashoggi, a Washington Post journalist and critic of the Saudi Arabian government.
American intelligence agencies believe that the Saudi crown prince was behind this murder, but Mohammed bin Salman denies his role.
The relations between Egypt and the United States were also tense during the first months of Biden’s presidency due to disputes over human rights. But Egypt’s efforts to mediate in order to establish a ceasefire in Gaza in May 2021, led to renewed interaction between the two countries.
Freedom of the press and democratic rights can draw criticism, Biden says, but the ability to express opinions openly and freely exchange ideas fosters innovation.
Biden said: Accountable institutions that are not corrupt and act transparently and respect the rule of law are the best way to grow, respond to people’s needs, and I believe they guarantee justice.
