Biden’s mission: containment of Israel or threat to Iran?

According to IRNA’s report on Saturday, the Voice of Afghan website wrote in a note:

Considering the statements and actions of Joe Biden during his trip to the occupied territories, and also considering the sharp reaction of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the important question is whether Biden’s main mission during his current trip to the Middle East is to control dangerous fireworks. Is the Israeli regime in order to prevent a new and terrible war in the region or to increase the pressure on Tehran to accept the conditions desired by the US in the negotiations related to the revival of the JCPOA?

An hour after the leaders of America and the Zionist regime pledged to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. This is while the Islamic Republic of Iran has repeatedly emphasized that the country’s nuclear programs are for peaceful purposes.

Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, responded to Biden’s claim and addressed “America and its allies in the region” and said that “any mistake in this region will be met with a harsh and regrettable response”.

Joe Biden pledged that his country would use “everything in its power” to prevent what he called Iran’s development of nuclear weapons.

This commitment is officially stated in a document named “Joint Statement of US-Israel Strategic Partnership” signed by the heads of both sides on Thursday.

Joe Biden also said that his country is willing to use military force as a “last resort” to prevent what he called Iran’s acquisition of nuclear weapons.

In response to these statements, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi said: “I tell the Americans and their allies in the region that the great nation of Iran does not accept any insecurity and crisis in the region.”

A number of experts believe that the signing of the joint declaration known as the “Quds Declaration” means America’s commitment to support Israel against Iran in order to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, before taking any real action to block Iran’s path to what they are trying to achieve. Calling the country a nuclear weapon is an indirect attempt to curb the Israeli regime’s fireworks in the Middle East under the pretext of confronting Iran.

According to this group of experts, the United States knows very well that Iran will never seek to acquire weapons of mass destruction, and this is something that is not only not included in the Islamic Republic’s military program; On the contrary, a jurisprudential fatwa has been issued about it, and it is considered haram from the point of view of Shariah.

Therefore, Washington is never worried about Iran acquiring nuclear weapons and mass murder; Rather, through this route, it pursues other goals, one of the most important of which is to impose its domination and hegemony on the Islamic Republic. But if this goal is not achieved, under the pretext of Iran’s nuclear program, it intends to “milk” the Arabs and strengthen Israel.

If this perception is correct, Biden is worried about the disastrous consequences of criminal assassinations and sabotage operations of the Israeli regime in the region before he is worried about Iran getting nuclear weapons. America knows that if it does not restrain Israel now, tomorrow will be too late; Because the indirect war between Israel and Iran has entered a serious and operational stage; But it is still under control and it can be prevented from spreading and intensifying with reasonable decisions.

For this reason, by signing the joint declaration known as the “Quds Declaration”, on the one hand, Biden assures Israel that he will support it with all his might and will not allow Iran access to nuclear weapons, and on the other hand, he gives this guarantee He says that America is responsible for containing Iran, not Israel; Therefore, Israel’s unilateral actions against Iran must be stopped, otherwise, it will lead to an unwanted disaster that may involve America and its allies in the Middle East in a crazy and destructive war; The same thing was reflected in the clear and serious warning of Seyyed Ebrahim Raeesi in response to the joint declaration known as “Quds Declaration”.

On the other hand, a group of observers believe that Washington intends to intensify the pressure on Tehran during Biden’s visit to the region so that the Iranian authorities are forced to agree to the same agreement that America wants. Signing a treaty with Israel, trying to normalize relations between Israel and the Arabs, possible measures to create a joint air defense shield in the Middle East against Iran, which is one of Israel’s plans, and other issues are part of America’s levers to put pressure on Iran.

Nevertheless, as in the reaction of Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi; The President of the Republic of Iran also clarified that any action against Iran, not America or Israel; Rather, their allies will also be targeted by the legitimate response of the Islamic Republic, and this is something that has been experienced before, and it does not seem that America and its allies, including Israel, are willing to try it again.
