Bita Farhi’s memorial ceremony was held at Iran’s Artist House

The memorial ceremony of Bita Farhi was held yesterday in the presence of cultural and film figures at the House of Iranian Artists.

Charso Press: The commemoration ceremony of Bita Farhi, a film and television actor, was held on Tuesday, January 12, 1402, with the presence of figures of culture, art and cinema in Jalil Shahnaz hall of Iran’s Artists House. The implementation of this program was carried out by Sam Horokan.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Harukan said: I think we all loved Bita Farhi. He had made a nest in his heart for each one of us and now he has a nest in our hearts. He played at least 4 memorable roles in Iranian cinema with “Hamon”, “Bano”, “Kimiya”, “Khanaei Roi Ab” and added to his repertoire.

Kayanian: Bita Farhi had a beautiful conscience, character and soul!

Reza Kianian further stated: I am sorry that I could not come to Mrs. Farhi’s funeral on the day of her funeral. There was no doubt about Mrs. Farhi’s beauty, sweetness and tenderness; In fact, seeing his pictures made one feel better. His conscience, character and soul were also so beautiful.

He added: I entered the cinema very late; When I went to the movie “Kimiya”, Bita and Khosrow were both big superstars of this country. Because it was after Hamon. When I went to the set of this movie, even the butler there didn’t know me and he didn’t give me tea and he gave tea to everyone else. Then Mahmoud Kalari said that he is also an actor, give him some tea too. And then they brought me tea.

This actor continued: I knew Khosro Shakibaei, but I did not know Bita at all. But when that movie ended, Bita Farhi and I became close friends. I liked him very much because he had a very good intention. Later, when we co-starred in Mr. Farmanara’s movie “House on the Water”, he gave me angry looks in the movie, but these looks were not in his spirit at all; You laugh most of the time. I offer my condolences to her family, the cinema and all the people for losing such a lady.

Dear Broumand: Bita Farhi was an underemployed and picky actress

Respected Broumand read a note during the ceremony and reviewed some of his memories with this artist.

Parts of his note were as follows:

“This is the last sentence that Bita wrote to me; “I’m better, my dear.” With some heart and kiss signs. It was November 26. I was not in Tehran. The friends I talked to said it would be better to remove the pipes and I cheerfully counted the days to return to Tehran and go to that beautiful, warm and intimate apartment with pictures on the wall, green vases and the sound of music that was always playing there. I remembered Beside my beloved Beita, who could always be talked to from any door. But suddenly bad news arrived.

When you were with Beta, you thought you were her only friend. He loved you so much and welcomed you with his beautiful words and kind heart, that you found confidence in yourself. Sometimes you said to yourself, it is because of his loneliness that he loves me so much and wants me to go to him. But it was not like that. During his illness and after his loss, I realized more how much he had room in his kind heart for countless friends from young to middle aged and me.

Some say that he was saddened and disappointed after the ban of the movie “Lady”, but soon he was able to strengthen his spirit. As we all saw, in the interval when “Bano” was about to be released, that is, 7 years later, Beta acted in the very good film “Kimiya” and was able to win the best festival award in our country. After the release of the movie “Lady”, he also played several good roles in different movies.

Who among us has not tasted the bitter taste of confiscation and prohibition in these past 40 years?! Of course, we were hurt, but we didn’t lose our feet and we didn’t let them see our fall and death for banning and confiscation.
All in all, Bita Farhi can be introduced as an underemployed and selective actress, but the reason for that was: lack of desire to show off and lack of thirst for wealth.

He never showed off; He listened to me, you and everyone. He called everyone dear and respected those who were older than him and humbly said I kiss your hand. It was a bad year; Kiyomarth Pourahmad, Reza Haddad, Dariush Mehrjooi, Vahida Mohammadifar, Atila Pesiani, Farima Farjami whom we lost. I wish that we can spend the remaining 3 months of 1402 without loss of loved ones, without tension and without threats and intimidation. God willing.”

In the rest of the day, Nematolahi performed a musical piece. After this performance, Nematolahi said in a conversation: Bita Farhi’s memorial service was full of energy and love. I came on stage in a strange mood; Because neither my voice nor my heart was helping. I hope I have performed a program in his honor.

Atuma Farhi, one of Bita Farhi’s relatives, also read a note about his relationship with Bita Farhi to the audience in the next part of the ceremony.

Shahhosseini: I wish Bita Farhi knew the technique in life to answer some questions

Next, a short film entitled “To be or not to be”, which was prepared by Shahram Shahhosseini in praise of Bita Farhi’s life, was played for the audience. This film contained the talks of Dariush Mehrjoui, Bahman Farmanara, Reza Kianian, Masoud Kimiaei, Rakhshan Bani-Etemad, Siros Alvand, etc. about Bita Farhi.

After the screening of the film, Shahram Shahhosseini said: As you have seen, with a little precision, you can understand why this film was made. 2006, which is the year of making this movie, was the beginning of Beta’s heartbreak. We had a chat and then the result was that I made this film so that Beta’s friends would talk about him. He was an instinctive actor and did not play with technique. He didn’t know technique in life either, but I wish he knew technique so that he could answer some questions.

Bijan Bijani (singer and calligrapher), one of Bita Farhi’s living friends and relatives, also recited Shafii Kodkani’s poem “Be kaja chanin shataban” in the continuation of this ceremony and said: Bita Farhi loved this poem very much. I have prepared and read a piece of this poem many years ago. It seems that today, at the same time as the 40th anniversary of his death, also coincided with his birthday. So I dedicate this text to him.

He then read a text that was the memory of his acquaintance with Bita Farhi.

Darius Farhang: Bita Farahi was a victim of this profession!

In the next part of this ceremony, Dariush Farhang said: Whatever I say, everyone said it, everyone went to the garden of knowledge, in the name of God, life and wisdom. Artists get inspiration from life and wisdom from wisdom and Bita Farhi; This particular lady of the cinema had inherited wisdom from wisdom and was a source of life in her work. He never did anything. Today is the 40th anniversary of his death and we are gathered here to express our condolences.

Farhang then read a text, parts of which are as follows:

“I remembered a train that arrived at a station for the first time in the history of cinema in 1895, some people walked and some got on, and the train, like life, continued on its way to the next station. At the next station, some got on and some got off. Some who disembarked could no longer board, all of them had a chance to live once; They left works and films in literature, art and cinema, poetry and music, and the train continued to the next station. And some people got on and some got off until the next station.

When you pulled aside the curtain of the wagon compartment, you were a witness and observer of wars, bloodshed, destruction, displacement and tragedy after tragedy. In the past, people used to make sacrifices to solve this calamity, but some of us have also been sacrificed, and the train continues to move until it reaches the Middle East. How much war, destruction and misery. Is this justice?! It is as if God is late or has forgotten. How many colleagues have we lost in the last three or four years! From small and large in Tehran and other cities. How many colleagues suffered from unemployment and died. How many colleagues got stressed and stayed at home. How many colleagues got cancer, God forbid, and they didn’t even have the money to pay for the hospital. how much immigration

The train continues as life. Today is the 40th day since the death of Bita Farhi. The train continues to the next station and it is not clear whose turn it is? Whether it’s our turn or not. Whoever came built a new mansion, left and the house was given to someone else.

He continued his speech and said: Bita Farhi or this particular lady was a victim of this profession. I had the chance to work with him in the “Bewitched” series. He was very professional and disciplined. There was a lady who would get confused with a little flip. Full of passion, emotion and innocence. Full of no need for bread and name. He had a mystical and professional mood that rippled through his works.

In the continuation of the ceremony, Sam Harokan asked the attendees to encourage the memory of Dariush Mehrjoui. Then a clip from the movie “Hamon” was played.

In addition, Sam Harokan said: Considering that the 40th anniversary of Farhi’s birthday coincides with his birthday, his daughter Mehsai Aziz has prepared a cake so that we can celebrate his last birthday together.

Mehsa Qureshi, the surviving daughter of Bita Farhi, also recited a poem by Shamlou in memory of Bita Farhi, Khosrow Shakibaei and Dariush Mehrjooi.

He went on to say: I would like to thank the House of Artists for accompanying us in holding this ceremony. Also, I would like to thank all those who were with us during this time and helped us organize this ceremony in the best possible way.

Bahman Farmanara, Homayun Ershadi, Soheila Razavi, Yasman Khalilifar were among the faces present in this program.
