Blinken: Diplomacy is the most effective way to deal with Iran’s nuclear program – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr News Agency, quoted by Reuters, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken once again dropped the ball of negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program to Tehran’s ground, saying that according to Washington, diplomacy is still the most effective way to deal with this issue.
During his trip to Athens, Blinken said: We still believe that the most effective and sustainable way to deal with the challenge of the nuclear program is diplomacy.
He claimed: But currently, these efforts are postponed because, to put it simply, Iran does not interact meaningfully and seriously!
The US Secretary of State continued: But to advance diplomacy, the door is always open and depends to a large extent on Iran’s speech and behavior and whether it participates in the negotiations or not.
Blinken’s statements and claims were raised while the American Bloomberg website recently quoted the inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency as claiming that enriched uranium with a purity of 84% was detected in Iran.
In this report, citing two high-ranking Western diplomats, it is claimed that inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Iran discovered quantities of enriched uranium last week, which is slightly less than the amount needed to produce a nuclear weapon.
In the first reaction to this report, the Agency wrote on Twitter: The Agency is aware of the recent media reports regarding the level of uranium enrichment in Iran. The International Atomic Energy Agency will discuss the results of recent verification activities with Iran and, if necessary, will inform the Agency’s Board of Governors.
Behrouz Kamalvandi, Deputy and Spokesperson of the Atomic Energy Organization, noting that the material published in Bloomberg was done with the aim of discrediting and distorting the facts, said: It is a pity that the International Atomic Energy Agency continues to be a political tool to put pressure on the Republic. Islamic Iran is being abused.
