Bonsalman hopes for Trump’s return to power

According to IRNA today (Wednesday), the trans-regional newspaper Rai Al-Youm revealed that the Saudi National Wealth Fund headed by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s $ 2 billion in the company founded six months ago by Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jarad Kushner. He invested that this issue can be examined from three angles.

According to the author of Rai Al-Youm, first, bin Salman, the real ruler of Saudi Arabia and his next king, has counted on Trump’s return to the White House with a victory in the next presidential election in 2024.

Second, relations between the Saudi Crown Prince and the Democratic administration of US President Joe Biden are currently undergoing tensions between Riyadh and Washington; In particular, tensions between Biden and Ben Salman have escalated following the rejection of Biden’s request to increase oil production in order to reduce prices and his adherence to the OPEC Plus agreement.

Third, thanks to Kouchner’s investment, bin Salman responded to his defense of the case of Jamal Khashgechi (a journalist killed at the Saudi consulate in Turkey) because Kouchner, who was an adviser to President Trump at the time, was one of the main Bin Salman’s defenders opposed the US intelligence service, which blamed the Saudi Crown Prince for the assassination of Jamal Khashgeji, an anti-Saudi journalist. In addition, Kouchner worked hard in Congress to approve a $ 110 billion arms deal with Saudi Arabia over a 10-year period.

It is clear that Kouchner, the owner of the infamous deal known as the “Deal of the Century” and the helmsman of the infamous “Peace of Abraham” deal, is now seeking the fruit of his service to bin Salman, a “close friend.”

According to the newspaper, Prince bin Salman did not take into account the concerns of the Saudi National Wealth Fund Advisory Committee about the deal, which confirms his insistence on supporting Kouchner and his company due to political and perhaps personal considerations.

“We do not know whether the Saudi Crown Prince’s bet on Trump’s return to the White House after two and a half years will be correct, although Biden’s policies in the proxy war in Ukraine should not rule out the possibility of Trump’s return,” he concluded. It remains to be seen whether he will pursue the same policies, especially as 72 percent of American Jews voted for his Democratic rival in the recent US election, and former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stabbed him in the back.

Another problem may be betting on Kouchner and his start-up and his limited investment experience, as well as the failure of most of his policies and that of his first teacher, Benjamin Netanyahu, in the Middle East, and perhaps what is currently happening in occupied Palestine and an armed uprising. It is happening, it is a threat to those involved in the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime based on the “Abraham’s peace” agreements.
