According to the Mehr news agency, quoting APA, the Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan reacted to the statements of Sardar Ali Goodarzi, Commander of the Iranian Border Guard, in a statement.

The Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan has further added that there has never been and will never be a force of any third country on the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The service also added that allegations about the activities of Takfiris from foreign countries, as well as the use of the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan by third countries for intelligence purposes against Iran, are false and do not reflect the truth.
The service also claims that there are no foreign forces or specialists on its borders. The border guards of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which has the latest opportunities for reliable protection and security of its borders, do not need the support of foreign forces.
Earlier, Leila Abdullahova, spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, denied the presence of third forces on the border with Iran.
At the same time, he claimed that the presence of foreign elements in the border areas of Azerbaijan was raised during the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War, while in Baku’s view, there is no evidence to substantiate this accusation.
The allegations come as the Islamic Republic of Iran’s foreign minister, Hossein Amir Abdullahian, has previously said that a number of terrorist movements infiltrated the region during the liberation of Nagorno-Karabakh, citing Israeli movements along the Iranian border. It is trying to use this tension.
