According to Tejarat News, cutting off the branching of unsafe buildings is one of the important measures that the safety committee of the city council has put this issue at the top of its work.

The head of the safety committee of the Tehran Islamic Council said: If the owners of unsafe buildings do not take measures to secure, the branching of these buildings will be cut off, and recently the branching of an unsafe building in District 11 has been cut off.

Referring to the holding of weekly immunization meetings in 22 districts of Tehran, Mehdi Babaei said: Based on the reports of the fire department and safety services of Tehran Municipality on the latest status of unsafe buildings and also presenting the progress report of immunization, more dynamism in dealing with the situation We are witnessing unsafe buildings.

Emphasizing that the prosecutor’s warning to unsafe buildings has been effective in securing them, Babaei said: the procedure is that we first warn the owners of these buildings ourselves and then it is communicated through the judiciary. In addition, we have requested that the branch be cut off for the buildings whose owners have not taken measures to secure them.

The member of the Islamic Council of Tehran announced that so far many cases have been subject to disconnection, and noted: The obvious example of this action is a building in District 11, which has recently been disconnected.

According to the city website, Babaei said: The important thing is that the training of managers on how to deal with unsafe buildings should be a priority, and the fire department and the crisis prevention and management organization should prioritize this training.
