Sheikhan emphasized on using all production capacities in the complexes and said: we must increase our share in the domestic market and exports by producing diverse and competitive products.

The CEO of Iran Tobacco Company further emphasized: The production complexes of Tobacco Company must plan in such a way that they can buy the products produced by farmers and no products are left in the hands of farmers.

Sheikhan added: “Farmers’ produce money should be paid as soon as possible and the tobacco company should not be indebted to farmers.”

He emphasized on eliminating the game dealer in the process of agricultural production: Strengthening the capillary sales of products should be one of the policies of the tobacco company and if each province increases the capillary sales of its products to 50% and more, it will be encouraged and given special support.

The CEO of Iran Tobacco Company emphasized on paying attention to the welfare status of tobacco employees and stated: Contracting companies should not be indifferent to the rights of employees. We oppose oppression, injustice and discrimination.

Referring to the employment of 12,000 workers in the tobacco company in recent years, Sheikhan said: “Unfortunately, the workforce of this company has reached five thousand people due to wrong policies and reduced production.” We do not oppose the recruitment of tobacco and believe that by increasing production and creating new employment capacities, the company’s manpower should increase.

“We welcome investors to invest and produce domestically,” he said. “Today we are in a situation where we need to be both more active and efficient in the economy.”

The CEO of Iran Tobacco Company added: “We have good capacities, forces and opportunities, and we believe that higher peaks can be conquered with jihadist efforts.”

Sheikhan stated that one of our important policies is to activate the export of tobacco, adding: “We must use all available capacities for tobacco cultivation by supporting the agricultural sector of this industry.”

He said that in order to play a role in production and the market, we need a structural change, he said: the structure of Iran Tobacco Company should be redesigned based on new missions to be present in the field of exports and increase production.

In another part of his speech, referring to the evaluation indicators of production complexes, the CEO of Iran Tobacco Company emphasized the reduction of waste of production complexes and said: increase of production, increase of sales, increase of tobacco cultivation level among the evaluation indicators of the complex Is productive.
