Budget bill | Details of luxury houses tax in budget 1401/60 billion house subject to 300 million Tomans tax


According to the economic correspondent of Fars News Agency, according to the budget bill of 1401, residential units and gardens of expensive villas will be taxed. According to this bill, residential units and gardens of villas whose price is below 10 billion tomans are exempt from paying this tax and in other words, it is not considered a luxury residential unit. But residential units above 10 billion tomans are subject to tax.

In this regard, houses whose price is between 10 to 15 billion tomans, are subject to a tax of one tenth of one percent. Owners of houses whose price is between 15 and 25 billion tomans are subject to a two-tenth percent tax. In case the price of a residential unit is between 25 to 40 billion Tomans, they are subject to 3 tenths of a percent tax. In addition, if the price of a residential unit is between 40 and 60 billion tomans, they are subject to 4 tenths of a percent tax, and residential units above 60 billion tomans are also subject to a half percent tax.

According to the bill proposed by the government, the Tax Affairs Organization is obliged to determine the assets subject to this tax by June 1401 at the latest and inform the taxpayers about it.
