Budget Bill | Next year, the salary tax exemption ceiling was 5 million Tomans


According to the economic correspondent of Fars News Agency, the government proposed in next year’s budget bill that the tax exemption ceiling for the salaries of government and non-government employees be 5 million Tomans per month.

In this paragraph, it was stated: The ceiling of annual tax exemption subject to Article (84) of the Law on Direct Taxes in 1401 is set at six hundred million (600,000,000) Rials.

The income tax rate for government and non-government employees, including continuous and non-continuous salaries and benefits, and other payments and work, with the exception of Eid al-Adha, is as follows:

5-1 – In relation to the surplus of six hundred million (600,000,000) Rials to one billion and two hundred million (1,200,000,000) Rials, ten percent (10%)

5-2 – In relation to the surplus of one billion and two hundred million (1,200,000,000) Rials to two billion and four hundred million (2,400,000,000) Rials, fifteen percent (15%)

5-3- In relation to the surplus of two billion and four hundred million (2,400,000,000,000) Rials, twenty percent (20%)

The amount of annual real estate tax exemption for persons without income subject to Article (57) of the Law on Direct Taxes and Business Income Tax subject to Article (101) of the Law on Direct Taxes shall be set at three hundred and ninety-six million (396,000,000) Rials.
