Build a safe car instead of projecting

According to Tejarat News, Kamal Hadianfar, Rahoor Naja Police Chief, said on the sidelines of his press conference this morning about the statements made by the automakers in response to the explicit criticism of the police: “Drivers are to blame for about 60% of accidents, but this is important.” If the driver fails, how can the car protect him and his passengers. Airbags, belts, metal alloys, etc. are all important, why should a car explode?

Automakers are “joking”

He continued: In the same incident in Behbahan, why did three Prides and a Samand catch fire? Doesn’t the automaker say it was a standard tank? So why did the car explode? TNT load that they did not carry with them. Last week, a Peugeot stopped at the Damavand toll road and caught fire when a car collided with it. So, what is the safety condition of the car?

Rahoor police chief continued: “I think carmakers are ‘joking’ that drivers should crash at the right angle. They said airbags are switches; The driver airbag, which is not a switch at all, is the passenger airbag of the switch, which in this accident, all of them were open and did not work, and we also have a photo of it.

Addressing the automakers, he added: “So what do these professions mean?” Instead, say, “We made a mistake,” and go get a safe car.

Hadianfar clarified that the cars are said to have received the necessary approvals: At first, they send a sample car for a sample and get approval for it, but why do the same responsible devices no longer go to the production line to visit periodically?

Rahoor Naja police chief called on carmakers to stop projecting and said: “Well, if we analyze 11-year-old sketches and say that in some cases the airbag has not been opened, the carmakers know what will happen.” Peugeot 405 rotated to the table and its airbag did not open and then another Peugeot crashed from the front and its airbag did not open, what do these mean?

He added: “I emphasized that the share of car manufacturers in accidents should be reported to the judiciary, and insurers should also demand that they receive compensation from car manufacturers.”

In the end, Hadianfar emphasized: “We have negotiated many times and corresponded with car manufacturers about car safety.”
