Burning a stadium in Italy

According to the Tasnim news agency and quoted by Sky Sports, the fans of the Foggia team set fire to the Erasmo Iacovne Stadium, the venue of the Taranto team’s games, in the Serie C of Italy.

The meeting between Taranto and Foggia ended with the home team winning 2-0. At the end of the match, a fire broke out in the away fans’ section, most likely due to the explosion of a smoke bomb, but none of the spectators were injured.

Emergency forces were present at the scene and managed to extinguish the fire during the night operation. By issuing a statement, Fujia Club announced its readiness to provide all the necessary information to the competent services to identify the perpetrators of the stadium fire.
