He wrote in this Twitter message: “I had a conversation with Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amirabdollahian again. If we want to conclude a contract, we need to make a decision now. This is still possible, but the political space for revitalizing the JCPOA may soon be limited.”

This telephone conversation takes place while an hour ago, an Iranian official said about the recent indirect talks between Tehran and Washington that America should present a real initiative and not criticize the initiative of other parties.

This Iranian official, who was interviewed by Al Jazeera, added: “During the Doha negotiations, no change was felt by the United States regarding Iran’s interests in the nuclear agreement.”

He said: “Some small changes in Washington’s position are insufficient and unreliable, and there is no guarantee of their implementation.”

The Iranian official added: “We are ready to conclude a strong agreement and this is conditional on a serious government in America.”

He said: “What Washington calls Iran’s terms and conditions is our natural right, and if the decision was up to the Europeans, the agreement would have been signed by now.”


Ali Bagheri and Enrique Mora in Doha talks
