Burrell: Iran’s response to Europe was logical/We are waiting for America’s response – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Reuters news agency, European Union foreign policy official Joseph Burrell said in a speech today: Iran’s response to the European Union’s proposal to revive the JCPOA is reasonable.
On the sidelines of a seminar in Spain, the official of the European Union’s foreign policy said: A proposal was made by me as the coordinator of the negotiations and an answer was given by Iran, which I think Iran’s answer is reasonable. This proposal has been transferred to the United States, which has not yet officially responded to it.
According to Al Jazeera TV channel, Joseph Burrell added: We are waiting for America and we hope that this answer will allow us to complete the negotiation process. We are hopeful about this issue, but we cannot assure you about it.
According to the Euro News TV channel, Burrell in Spain pointed out that a meeting was supposed to be held in Vienna last weekend (local time) to discuss the lifting of anti-Iranian sanctions, but this did not happen. This Spanish diplomat added that it is possible that we will see the mentioned negotiations in the capital of Austria this week.
According to Mehr news agency, Nasser Kanani, the spokesperson of the diplomatic service, said in a press conference this morning (Monday), referring to the one year anniversary of the 13th government, we had sanctions, regional crises and complex international conditions, but the adoption of a balanced foreign policy, intelligent interaction and dynamic diplomacy It has shown its works and results to a very significant extent in practice. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs moved in this direction based on the government’s policy, and based on the results, we see good and promising conditions. The results showed that the adoption of these policies was correct and wise and we have seen its good results in the economic field, increasing the volume of foreign relations and exchange and increasing relations with neighboring countries, both border and regional.
In response to a question about the latest developments in the sanctions lifting negotiations and the implementation of Iran’s obligations, he said: In general, it can be said that we are still on the path of negotiations and let us not accept the details and the next process that has not happened yet. In the last round of negotiations in Vienna, proposals from the European Union were given to the negotiating parties, including Iran. The Iranian side, based on a constructive and responsible approach, gave its response to the proposals at the appointed time. So far, we have not received a response from the other side, specifically the American government, to the proposals of the European side. We should not pay attention to unofficial narratives, and in the atmosphere of negotiations, we should make comments and judgments about the official deals and ideas of the countries regarding the negotiation process.
