Calling for the first round of awards for short films in the “video” genre.
According to the Fars news agency and quoted by the public relations of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association, the first round of “Vodio” awards aimed to recognize, introduce and better understand the atmosphere of genre films, with the support of the specialized online short film screening platform “Vodio” and the cooperation of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association. It will be held from October 6 to 8.
The “Vodio” award will be held online with the support of “Vodio” platform and the cooperation of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association with the approach of genre films, in two formats of short films and screenplays, including all known genres including crime, horror, science fiction, comedy. , includes fantasy, musical or fusion genres.
Participation in this event is free for all those interested and active in this field, and the only condition for participation is to submit works in one of the announced genres. It should be noted that all registration and submission of works will be done online.

Rules and how to submit works of genre short films:
The link of the submitted short film must first be uploaded on vodiofest.ir.
The short films submitted in this event should be in the form of short fiction films made after 2018 and the maximum duration of the films should be 30 minutes.
There is no limit to the number of submitted works.
Submitted videos must be in 1080P or H,264 MOV 1080P format. If the movie has subtitles, it must be sent along with the original version of the movie.
At least one and a maximum of six behind-the-scenes photos, movie poster and director’s photo must be uploaded to the event site during registration.
If the participants wish, the submitted video will be shown online on the video platform. Non-agreement of the participants to be displayed online on the video platform does not mean that the work is excluded from the competition.
Rules and how to submit works of short genre scripts:
Scripts must be uploaded in full in both pdf and word formats.
A film must not have been produced from the submitted script.
It is necessary to include the summary of the script on a maximum of one A4 page on the first page of the script.
The script can be up to 30 pages.
In adapted scripts, it is necessary to mention the source of the adaptation on the first page of the script.
Uploading the photo of the screenplay author is required at the time of registration.

General rules for participation in Vodio Award:
Registration in the event is possible only through the event site at vodiofest.ir; Therefore, those interested can participate in this event only by visiting the specified site and completing the registration form and registering and sending the necessary information on the website.
After registering the information and completing the registration process, it is not possible to change, modify or resend the works.
The works that do not meet the technical and presentation standards according to this call will be removed from the competition section.
After the effect reaches the event, it is not possible to remove it.
In the event of any issue not covered by these rules and conditions, the final decision will be made by the event secretariat based on international law.
The event secretariat considers the sender of the work to be the owner of the work, so if the contrary is proven at any stage, the submitted work will be deleted and the legal responsibility for it will also be towards the sender.
Completing the application form to participate in the event means accepting the announced regulations.
