Canada and Germany withdrew/ the turbine will be delivered to Russia

According to the report of the International Economic Group of Fars News Agency, quoted by Reuters, Germany confirmed that the country’s government received positive signals from Canada regarding sending a turbine needed for the repair of the Nord Stream 1 pipeline to Germany, but could not say that This turbine has been delivered.
Gazprom, referring to the delay in the return of equipment repaired by Germany’s Siemens Energy in Canada, reduced the capacity of sending through this pipeline by 40% last month.
A decision to restore the turbine has already been made, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters on Thursday.
This turbine will be sent to Germany first.
The turbine will be sent to Germany first, and then Berlin will hand it over to Gazprom so that Canada does not violate any sanctions, a government source told Reuters.
Kremlin It announced on Friday that it will increase gas supply to Europe if the turbine is returned.
Earlier in July, Canada’s Natural Resources Minister Jonathan Wilkinson said Ottawa was exploring ways to restore critical sections of Russia’s Nord Stream pipeline that have been stuck in Canada due to sanctions.
He said: “We are talking with Germany and we are trying to find a way to start the flow of gas. “There may be different options that we can explore.”
In the last week of June, Russia’s Gazprom reduced the flow of gas to Germany through the Nord Stream pipeline by 60%, and the reason for this was the non-return of the company’s turbines by Siemens. According to Gazprom, these turbines have remained in Montreal, Canada due to sanctions against Russia.
The decrease in gas delivery to Germany also stopped the flow of gas to France, Austria and the Czech Republic.
This situation caused the member states of the European Union to announce emergency measures this week with the aim of reducing natural gas consumption.
Some countries called the reduction of gas delivery an act with political intentions, but Gazprom declared the reason for it to be technical.
