He also explained about Iran Khodro’s supply of cars outside of the regulations and added: Iran Khodro gives cars to its personnel every 3 or 4 years, but in the current situation where everyone is in line, it would have been better to postpone this issue.

Regarding the elimination of the car lottery, Deputy Minister Samet also said: In the lottery system, 20,000 cars were offered and they had to be distributed among the selected applicants.

He explained: In the queue system, the policy is such that all applicants register a request to buy a car with a basic amount, and queues are randomly assigned through the system, and in this way, the time of receiving the car of the applicants is determined.

In response to Tasnim’s question about the increase in car prices next year, Deputy Minister Samet said: The average price increase next year will be around 30-70 percent.

Regarding the price at which the car will be delivered to the applicants of the 500,000 car supply plan, he said: In the 500,000 car supply plan, the product will be delivered to the customer at a set price, and if someone wants to cancel, he will not be fined.

Lagi added: We do not have advance sales in this project, but the purchases will be made by real applicants. Of course, the supply of these cars will be done through the same system of imported cars.

He clarified: In the plan to supply 500,000 cars, we do not have a lottery in any way, and if the demand is more than the supply, we will take turns, and if we are not able to respond in 1402, the delivery will be postponed to 1403.

Logically, he added: Considering the current condition of the car and its greater demand compared to the supply, according to the Car Competition Council, it has a monopoly market, and for this reason, it is included in its pricing category.

He stated: In this field, the competition council bases its work on the support organization and receives and approves the prices offered by the support organization (which is also based on the companies’ financial statements).

Rogi pointed out: Based on this, if we have an increase in the price of cars, it is based on the financial statements of the manufacturing companies, and the competition council verifies these prices.

Rogi continued: In the agreement with the Russians, it was decided to start the Tara production line in Russia in addition to exporting complete cars to this country.

Deputy Minister Samet said: Next year, imports will cover part of the market’s needs, which will be up to 200,000 cars as planned.
