Celebration and joy of the people of Baghdad on the anniversary of the establishment of the popular uprising

According to Fars News Agency’s International Group, residents of Baghdad took to the streets to celebrate the eighth anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Al-Hashd al-Shabi (People’s Mobilization) organization.

The citizens of Baghdad held the flags of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Saberin News Telegram Channel reported by publishing images.

According to Saberin, this action is in response to the actions taken by Tehran and Hezbollah during the attack of the terrorist group ISIS on Iraq and the occupation of large areas of the country.

Al-Hashd al-Shabi also held a parade last year, on the anniversary of its founding, attended by Iraqi military and state officials, including Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi.

The parade was held at the Abu Montazer al-Muhammadavi Martyrs’ Camp in Diyala, eastern Iraq. The anniversary of the founding of al-Hashd al-Shabi also coincides with the start of a major operation to liberate Iraq.

Al-Hashd al-Shabi was established eight years ago with the fatwa of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Sistani, the supreme authority of the Shiites, in order to fight the terrorist group and during the fatwa of Jihad Kefai.

Al-Hashd al-Shabi was established at a time when the ISIS terrorist group was occupying large parts of Iraq and was close to Baghdad. Al-Hashd consists of 70 groups that united to liberate Iraq.
