Centers providing infertility services are required to sign contracts with basic insurance organizations

The Managing Director of Iran Health Insurance Organization, pointing out that the files of patients marked for infertility treatment should be registered and sent in the form of a temporary hospitalization file and added: Both infertile couples should be marked by the relevant insurance organization and the documents accepted separately. Send based on the type of service performed.

He stated that infertile couples without any basic insurance coverage should be covered by universal insurance through extensive testing and clarified that all medical centers and hospitals providing infertility treatment services are required to sign contracts with basic insurance organizations. Also, the license renewal of these centers and hospitals depends on the contract with the basic insurance organizations.
