Central Bank support for car imports

According to the Iran Economist on Saturday, “Mostafa Ghamriova” wrote on his Twitter account: “The decision to liberalize car imports will be implemented within the framework of rules, foreign exchange policies and ceilings set by the Central Bank.”

He added: “Full coordination of trade policies with foreign exchange policies in the structural reform program of the economy is a principle agreed in the thirteenth government.”

This is while in the previous period, “Abdul Nasser Hemmati” was the main opponent of car imports under the pretext of preventing the increase in currency prices. However, both the import of cars was stopped and the price of cars multiplied and the exchange rate increased three to four times.
