In addition, wild cotton grows around Lipar, from which the people of the region make mattresses and pillows.

On most days of the year, a number of local men and women open a bazaar on Lipar beach and sell their products such as handicrafts, all kinds of oysters, and agricultural products to tourists.
Because the presence of phytoplankton in salty water causes the color of the water to change, the plankton in Lipar lagoon also causes the water of this lake to turn pink in some months of the year, which makes Lipar lagoon one of the colored lakes and wetlands. The world has changed.
A lot of phytoplankton and excellent materials enter this lagoon in the monsoon season, which is the season of sea storms. Monsoon usually starts from the middle of June and lasts until the middle of September. At this time, so much plankton enters the lagoon that they change the color of the lagoon water to pink due to the reactions. Of course, it should be said that heavy rains also cause flooding of the lagoon.
Lipar is not colorful in all seasons of the year. If you want to see the pink color of its waters, it is better to choose winter to watch this unique lagoon.
