Charles Michel: We will not give up on the agreement with Iran – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr news agency, Al Jazeera TV channel quoted Charles Michel, President of the European Council, in a tweet today Wednesday: “Despite the presence of negative signs regarding the European Union’s proposal, we will not give up on the nuclear deal with Iran.”
In another part of his speech regarding Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, the head of the European Council also claimed that the purpose of Moscow’s sanctions is to put pressure on this country to stop the war against Ukraine. The coming months will be tough for the EU and many companies have suffered losses due to energy prices.
It should be mentioned that the negotiations to lift the sanctions in the 13th government started in the beginning of January last year in Vienna, but due to Washington’s lack of seriousness, these talks were stopped in March. After a break of several months and following the visit of EU foreign policy official Joseph Burrell to Tehran, a new round of negotiations was held on the 7th and 8th of July in Doha, Qatar. The European and Western parties, especially the United States, previously claimed that the text of the agreement has been finalized, but the negotiating team of our country announced that an agreement has not yet been reached on some issues; An agreement that Washington unilaterally withdrew from in 2015.
The Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizes that stability is a guarantee of the lifting of sanctions, it is necessary to reach an agreement.
