China: America should make up for its mistakes towards Iran and JCPOA



According to IRNA, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Zhao Lijian expressed hope that the two sides will increase diplomatic efforts to find common ground on unresolved issues and the obstacles to resuming full compliance after holding indirect nuclear talks between Iran and the United States in Doha, Qatar. (to the JCPOA) get out of the way.

The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry further emphasized: America, as the country that created Iran’s nuclear issue, must make amends for its mistakes and actively respond to Iran’s legitimate concerns.

He also stated that the United States should try to reach the results of the negotiations to resume the implementation of the JCPOA soon.

Indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States, facilitated by the European Union, were held on Tuesday and Wednesday (July 7 and 8) hosted by Doha.

After these talks, Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, in a phone call with his Qatari counterpart, expressed his gratitude for Doha’s hospitality and said: Our assessment of the latest stage of negotiations in Doha is positive.
