China called the assassination of Sardar Soleimani by the United States a war crime

IRNA reported on Tuesday, quoting the Chinese newspaper Piper; On the occasion of the second anniversary of Sardar Soleimani’s martyrdom on January 4, 2017 in Baghdad, Wang Wenbin added: “Soleimani’s assassination is another example of how the United States has (undermined) the norms governing international relations in accordance with the UN Charter.”

According to him; The United States can go so far as to “intentionally assassinate” the military leader of an independent country through terrorists in violation of international law, as well as to kill hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians around the world. All of these illegal and barbaric acts are hidden from the eyes of the United States behind the scenes of the “international rule of law” it claims to be in the eyes of people around the world.

“On December 3, the Iranian people gathered in a ceremony to commemorate Qassem Soleimani, the former commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, who was killed in a US airstrike two years ago,” the Chinese newspaper added.

The United States repeats the slogan of “upholding a law-abiding international order,” but the facts have repeatedly shown that what the United States cares about is nothing more than a law that meets its needs and benefits. What it is committed to is nothing but an order that maintains US dominance and enables it to overcome the international community. But such rules and regulations that violate international law will not be accepted by the people of Iran, the Middle East and other parts of the world.

Sardar Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes, the commander of Hezbollah in Iraq and the deputy head of the Iraqi People’s Basij (Al-Hashd al-Shabi), and a number of other Iraqi fighters were killed in an airstrike by the US terrorist army at Baghdad airport on Friday, January 4, 2017. The terrorist act was carried out on the direct orders of then-US President Donald Trump.
