China: US ignores its obligations under space pacts

The Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement today that the United States was ignoring its obligations under space pacts and endangering astronauts, IRNA reported on Tuesday.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Li Jian told a news conference that China was urging the United States to act responsibly.

According to the report, Chinese citizens protested against Tesla and the ambitious space programs of its founder, Ilan Mask. It came after China filed a complaint about the return of its space station.

China has been forced to recapture its space station to avoid colliding with a satellite launched by Ilan Mask’s Starlink program.
