Cinematographers should “dramatize” cultural heritage/ Sacred defense and cultural heritage are the best part of national cinema.

According to the report of Arya Heritage and quoted by Mehr, cinema director Ansieh Shah Hosseini said that the issue of cultural heritage is important in the medium of cinema and television, but how can this issue be included in the format of cinema and television so that the audience understands it? He said: Hazrat Agha has a saying in this context that the most important historical documents will not survive if they are not dramatized. Therefore, if our cinematographers went towards a topic like cultural heritage, cinema would become national.

He added: That is, the best part of our national cinema is one of sacred defense and the other is cultural heritage. Therefore, filmmakers can dramatize the issue of cultural heritage and spice it up with stories, and we also have legends about cultural heritage, and by telling the legends that lie behind cultural heritage, they can make movies attractive to the audience. Like the Korean series that have nothing and make their stories interesting by using fictional legends and the stories of One Thousand and One Nights that they stole.

Stating that cultural heritage issues have the potential to become global, Shah Hosseini added: The issue of cultural heritage is the roots of every country, and a gentleman abroad once told me that Iranians have something new to say in their films. Now imagine the cultural heritage between movies and TV series and you will see how much more attractive it is to foreigners.

He asked whether the holding of these festivals has the effect of encouraging filmmakers to make such films. He said: Yes, especially since Mr. Zarghami was in charge of culture for many years, both in the Ministry of Guidance and in television, and he understood the need for the issue of culture, and he can handle this matter well.
