Closing of Fajr Theater Festival “Julius Caesar” shining night

According to the Fars News Agency Theater Reporter, the closing ceremony of the 40th Fajr International Theater Festival began tonight (Tuesday, February 17) with the presence of a group of artists at Vahdat Hall. At the beginning of the ceremony, a video was shown on the occasion of the birth of Imam Ali (as).
This ceremony is performed by Hamid Torabian. After reciting a poem about Imam Ali (AS), he said: “I thank all the talented and young theater artists of our country who stood up politely in these two years that have passed since the corona outbreak and kept the lights of the country’s theater on.”

Mohammad Mehdi Ismaili, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, said at the ceremony: “I thank all the dear artists of our country who, despite all the problems, especially the problems of Corona, did not stop their efforts and kept the Iranian theater alive.” This year, the festival had an important feature, and we went to Yazd province at the beginning of the festival and held the opening of this festival in this province.
He continued: Theater art should be in a high position due to its antiquity. The Arts Department should pay special attention to education in this field and pursue it so that talented young people can enter the field of performing arts.
The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said: We have spent about three thousand billion tomans for the performing arts of our country only during the last few days. Mr. President’s person pays special attention to the art of Islamic Iran. I was present in several provinces and followed up in those provinces where the youth could enter this field more easily or be trained to enter it.
Ismaili added: “Art and especially theater should have a better relationship with our country’s art universities, and in our opinion, this close relationship can help the development of our country’s theater.” If we can make that connection, a lot of work will be done.
Then the commemoration ceremony of Reza Roigari, the veteran artist of our country, was held.
Reza Roigari said at the ceremony: I congratulate everyone on the birth of Imam Ali (as). The theater festival always reminds me of happy memories and I enjoy holding it. Finally, after 60 years on stage, I was awarded, but now that they have, my hands are not alive enough to keep my gifts. I have not received an award in my life and now I have received a gift from the theater and its festival, thank you all.
The Martyr and Veterans Affairs Foundation is one of the plays in different parts of the festival, from the play “Segak” directed by Reza Bahrami due to its delicate and aesthetic treatment of the life of Shahrokh Zargham and the play “Misriya” directed by Akbar Ain because of the correct image of Farhang Isar was honored with a plaque of appreciation and a cash prize.
Then, the statue of the festival and the honorary diploma were awarded to Ferdows Hajian, and the son of the martyr Seyed Javad Hosseini was also honored.
Ferdows Hajian, said: I had to go north, but for an important reason I agreed to speak for 90 seconds. The economy of culture and art is in a wheelchair and the cultural budget of the festival is one third of Ryan Soldier. The place of creative economy is not in guidance, it is in the Council of the Cultural Revolution, and some people should give their place to the younger ones. If theater is to become a job, we need a creative economy.
Following this ceremony, the special award of Khandestan Comedy Festival and Isfahan Municipality went to Vahid Nafar for his play “Illustrated Picture of Mozaffari”.
Ali Babaei from Karaj was awarded a commendation plaque and a cash prize by the jury for the play “Some should be loved from afar”.
The jury of the social deputy of Tehran municipality awarded two writers who had dealt with urban identity and social problems. The contract with Kahbad Taraj worth 200 million Rials for writing social problems with a social and hopeful approach and the contract with Lily Aj for 200 million Rials for writing a play focusing on the mother and her role in strengthening the family foundation was the prize of this section. The privilege of publishing these works is in the hands of the municipality for one year.

* The award for best actor in this category went to Bahram Sarvarinejad for his role in the play “Cafe”.
* The award for the best actress in this category was given to Elahe Alizadeh for her role in the play “Maffeh” and also the honorary diploma of this section was awarded to the famous Maryam for her role in the play “Cafe”.
* The award for the best play in this section was given to Zahra Ismaili for writing the play “Maffeh”.
* The award for the best director of this section was given to Zahra Esmaili for directing the play “Maffeh”.
