Colorful medals of powerlifting nationals in Mongolia

According to Fars news agency, Iran’s national powerlifting team with 5 athletes participated in the world veterans competition in Mongolia and won colorful medals in different weights.

At 66 kg handle Mr. Du Taghi Giveh Chi won gold in the lift, silver in the squat, bronze in the chest press and became the overall runner-up.

At 93 kg handle Mr. Ebrahim Nikfar was fourth in squat and fifth in lift.

At 105 kg category Mohammad Reza Kamali was the overall runner-up.

At 105 kg category Majid Talkhabi won gold in the lift, silver in the squat, bronze in the breast press, and the overall gold to become Iran’s only gold medalist in the overall category of the World Veterans Championship.

At 120-kg category Mr. Ek Hadi Talkhabi in the lift became the runner-up and silver medalist.

In this way, Iran was able to win the third cup of the team division of the World Veterans Championship in Mongolia by winning colorful medals and two runners-up and one title in the overall division.
