Referring to the blackouts last summer, the Minister of Energy said: “In the summer of 1400, we had a deficit of about 15,000 megawatts, and with the growth of our consumption, if the conditions are like this summer, this deficit will reach about 18,000 megawatts in the summer of 1401.”

Mehrabian pointed to three main plans for managing the situation and added: “We are trying to manage the summer of 1401 with the least problems. The first plan is the leap development of power plants.”

He pointed to the addition of 6,000 MW of power plants in the summer of 1401 and said: “In the field of production and demand management, we have an extraordinary program, part of which is underway.

Mehrabian pointed to the encouragement of low consumption according to the consumption pattern and said: “If a subscriber reduces electricity consumption compared to last year, he will receive a good incentive for each kilowatt of consumption reduction, which will be announced in time.”

Mehrabian said: the second part of thermal power plants will be implemented with the participation of the country’s industries with a capacity of 10,000 MW, which today the demand of energy industries is much higher than this figure and the projects are also in good progress.

The Minister of Energy stated: The third issue is renewable power plants, which has a 10,000 MW leap program for four years, and in this regard, we evaluate the issue positively by taking measures.

According to him, the fourth issue of planning to upgrade the power plants to a capacity of 1100 MW for the summer of next year is underway.
Referring to the development of programs in the field of production and demand management, he added: In the issue of consumption, compliance with the pattern and consumption management by subscribers is one of the most important issues. In other words, we believe in supporting subscribers who follow the consumption pattern, and if consumption is higher than the pattern, it should be pursued outside non-subsidiary frameworks.

He pointed to the economy and the electricity market and said: “Tariff reform is one of the key issues in demand management; In such a way that we support our subscribers in such a way that the mutual encouragement of expenses is in line with the model.

Referring to the 1401 credits and budget, Mehrabian clarified: The 1401 budget bill was concluded while there were contractionary orientations in expenditures, but fortunately the government supported the Ministry of Energy’s water and electricity plans, and this provided the conditions for the industry to move forward. has done.

The Minister of Energy, stating that this budget will fulfill all the plans of the Ministry of Energy, said: “With the implementation of the plans of the Ministry of Energy, we hope to see the realization of the winter and summer plans in the country without blackouts.”

Mehrabian stated that providing the best services in the field of water and electricity is what the people want from us, adding: “According to the plan presented to the parliament, the duties of all managers in the electricity industry are clear and we must move according to the existing plan to achieve favorable conditions in the country.” .

6,000 MW increase in electricity generation capacity in the country

He said that a 6,000-megawatt increase in electricity generation capacity is expected for the 1401 peak, adding that 4,500 megawatts of thermal power plants, 500 megawatts of renewable power plants and more than 1,000 megawatts of efficiency increases and overhauls are planned to achieve this increase. .

The Minister of Energy stated that all measures are followed up on a weekly basis, adding: “We hope to see increasing progress with the cooperation and participation of all members of the electricity industry, because this is our important covenant with all partners.”

He further stressed the need for rejuvenation of the electricity industry, saying: “Rejuvenation of the electricity industry is of great importance and the issue should be pursued seriously, because better services in the coming years will not be achieved except with rejuvenation.” Age is an important indicator in rejuvenation, but in addition to this indicator, experience should also be included.
