Comparing the design of the Samsung 24S and S23 phone series
Samsung has made minor changes in appearance in the new series, and apart from the flat frame, in other cases, including the cameras, we are facing the same features as the previous generation. Like the Galaxy S23 series phones, the presence of aluminum frame continues in Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus, but the S24 Ultra takes a step forward and uses a titanium frame like its main competitor, the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Compared to the previous generation, the weight of the first two models has remained constant at 168 and 196 grams, and the weight of the S24 Ultra has decreased by 2 grams to 232 grams.
In addition to the above, the screens of the S24 and S24 Plus phones have been increased by 0.1 inches and have dimensions of 6.2 and 6.7 inches, respectively, but the S24 Ultra, like the previous generation, will go to the market with a 6.8-inch screen. The IP68 certificate also gives you peace of mind about the high resistance of all three phones against water and dust penetration.
Comparing the screen of the Galaxy S24 series with the 23 series
In this section, both series have relatively similar features. The Galaxy S24 series, like the previous generation, comes with Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel and uses the more advanced version of HDR technology, i.e. HDR10+, which displays colors more clearly.

But what makes Samsung S24 phones different from S23 is the presence of Korean LTPO technology in all panels of the new series, which brings a variable refresh rate up to 120 Hz and lower energy consumption. The brightness of 2600 nits is another difference between the S24 series and the S23, which assigns the title of the brightest current Galaxy phones to the new flagships. Also, thanks to the Vision Booster function, your device will display better visual performance outdoors.
Comparing the camera of the Samsung S24 series with the S23 series
The combination of cameras in these two series is not much different from the previous generation. In the two S24 and S24+ models, Samsung has used three main cameras: 50 megapixels with F1.8, ultrawide 12 megapixels with F2.2 and telephoto 10 megapixels with F2.4 and 3x optical zoom. A 200-megapixel camera is also used in S24 Ultra, and its periscope camera, with an increase of 5 times compared to its previous counterpart, records images with a resolution of 50 megapixels. Other features of the rear cameras include HDR, dual flash and panorama.

Selfie cameras are no different from the previous series, and by offering HDR and HDR10+, they produce photos with a resolution of 12 megapixels. A new feature that can be seen in the comparison of S24 and S23 phones is the presence of productive artificial intelligence tools that allow you to edit and create high-quality images.
Comparing the battery of Samsung S24 series phones with S23
Another difference between the Galaxy 24S series and the S23 is in the battery, where we have two batteries of 4000 and 4900 mAh in the standard and Plus models, which have experienced an increase of 100 and 200 mAh compared to the previous generation. Also, the interior of the Ultra model remains the same and is launched with a capacity of 5000 mAh.

The Galaxy S24 supports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging, and the S24 Plus and S24 Ultra features 45W wired and 15W wireless charging. Although the external specifications report the charging of the Galaxy S24 series with the previous generation, but until specialized tests are performed, it is not possible to give a definite opinion about this issue.
Comparing the processor of S24 series phones with Samsung S23
In terms of hardware, we see more differences when comparing the Galaxy S24 to the S23. The Ultra model comes with only one version equipped with Snapdragon 8 generation 3, while unlike the S23 series, two standard and Plus models are released with two different versions. The global version of S24 and S24 Plus with Exynos 2400 and the other version of these two phones, prepared for the American and Canadian markets, use Snapdragon 8 generation 3.

Qualcomm’s new processor is known as the best Android chip today and is equipped with a powerful Cortex X4 core with a frequency of 3.3 GHz, five semi-powerful A720 cores with a frequency of 3.2 GHz and finally two low-power A520 cores with a frequency of 2.3 GHz. Qualcomm claims that this graphics unit of this chip works 25% faster than its previous generation and wastes less energy. On the other hand, Koreans refer to Exynos 2400 as a powerful processor that has 1.7 times better performance than the previous generation (Exynos 2200).
Continuing the comparison of the S24 series with the S23, we will look at their storage capacity and RAM. Like the Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S24 is available in two capacities: 128.8, 256.8 and 512.8 GB, while the RAM of the Plus model has reached 12 GB and has two versions with a capacity of 256 and 512 GB. Galaxy S24 Ultra also removes 8GB of RAM altogether and is available in three versions: 12/256, 12/512 and 12/1024 GB. Android 14 operating system and One UI 6.1 user interface can be seen in the settings of all three phones, and it brings seven years of software updates to users.
Conclusion
The global launch of the S24 series will begin soon, and Samsung is trying to regain its place at the top of the list of best-selling phones in the world by offering impressive features such as artificial intelligence tools and decent graphics performance. This series has important differences with its previous generation, which can be a tool for Samsung to win.

Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus will be launched with a price tag of $799 and $999, and the most powerful model of this series, the S24 Ultra, will also be available at a price of $1,399.
The latest Samsung flagships with a maximum brightness of 2600 nits are the brightest phones of this company.
All three S24 series phones are equipped with the latest Qualcomm chip, and in addition, two standard and plus models use Exynos 2400.
Due to the presence of artificial intelligence, Snapdragon 8 generation 3 processor and LTPO technology in all three phones, this series cannot be considered completely similar to the previous generation.
The supply of these three phones will start at the end of this month (11th of February).
