Competition Why are wetlands vital to the land?
According to the monetary and financial news quoted by the Economic Court, the 13th of Bahman, coinciding with the 2nd of February, has been named the World Wetlands Day.
In 1349, on such a day in the city of Ramsar, a global treaty for the protection of wetlands was adopted, known as the Ramsar Convention. The Ramsar Convention is one of the oldest international treaties emphasizing the protection of the environment in the world.
