Quoted from stampAccording to Article 4 of the Family and Youth Protection Law, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development is obliged to provide land or housing for families whose third or more children were born on November 15, 1400 (the date of enactment of the said law).
The text of this legal article is as follows:
Article 4 – In order to fulfill paragraph (c) of Article (102) of the Sixth Five-Year Law on Economic, Social and Cultural Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the government is obliged to provide a plot of land or residential unit up to 200 square meters in accordance with the quorum. Rural and urban guide plans or comprehensive and detailed urban plans approved for residents in villages or cities with less than 500,000 people after the birth of a third child and more jointly and equitably to parents, in the same place based on the cost of preparation only once In the form of installment sales with 2 years grace and 8 years installments and the ownership document, after paying the last installment, will be delivered to the owners within a maximum of one month.
Pursuant to Note 3 of this Article of the Population Youth Law, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development is obliged to prepare the executive regulations of Article 4 and submit them to the Cabinet for approval within 3 months of the approval and notification of the law.
Some of the articles of the proposed regulations of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development are as follows:
The proposed regulation of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development states that this legal article (granting land or housing to families with 3 or more children) applies to cities where the birth rate in the hometown of the father or child is above 2.5.
If construction is not done on land given to households in cities with less than 500,000 people, the land will be returned to the government.
If the government does not have land, in cities with a population of less than 500,000, a government housing unit will be built at a cost and given to the household with a 2-year grace period and 8-year installments.
Land or housing unit is given to the parents separately (in half).
Polygamous families are given to families with three children or more than one parent.
Priority is given to households whose form “c” is green and who have not used government housing services before, but if the form “c” is for red families, the implementation of this law also applies to them.
