Conference on Iran and the Malay world: historical, contemporary and future relations

According to IRNA’s report on Tuesday, the opening ceremony of this international conference was attended by Tunku Zain Al-Abidin, director of the Institute of Democracy and Economic Affairs and the son of the King of Malaysia, and the presence of the Iranian ambassador to Malaysia, the former ambassador of Malaysia to Iran, and some academic, political and academic officials and figures. Culture of Malaysia and some countries in the region was held.
During the recent years, some regional and Malaysian scientific-research institutes, as well as those interested in Iran, have tried to introduce Iran’s rich scientific and historical culture, thought, and regional and international meetings, seminars, and conferences on the subject of Iran and Iranian thinkers to be held.
The experience of holding the first regional-scientific conference “The cultural heritage of Iran and the Malay world: a cultural discourse” and the unique reception of Malay and regional thinkers in 2017 and the publication and selection of the selected book of articles of this conference as the national book of Malaysia in the cultural sector in The year 2019 and the awarding of the prize to the compilers of this book showed the importance and necessity of continuing this path.
Based on this, with the cooperation of some Malay-Singaporean scientific and research centers, the scientific conference “Iran and the Malay world: historical, contemporary and future relations” was held and by inviting the intellectuals of Iran and the Malay world interested in attending this conference.
In this two-day conference, speakers from the Islamic Republic of Iran, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Australia and Malaysia gave speeches.
