The head of the Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, Dezful added: The change of use of historical buildings may be in the form of eco-tourism accommodation and traditional canteens.
He added: “Now some private sector investors, with the supervision and cooperation of cultural heritage, are in the process of restoring, completing and providing the necessary equipment to set up an ecotourism residence and a traditional canteen in the historical buildings of Dezful.”
Chirag Cheshm stated: “Shah Abadi” historical monument, “Bum-Arab” historical monument and “Majdi Building” were bought by private sector investors and are being restored and renovated to become eco-tourism accommodation.
