CPU-z support was seen from 13th generation laptop processors – i7 13700H and i5 13500H

As it seems, Intel’s new laptop processors such as Core i7 13700H and Core i5 13500H In the latest CPU-z update are listed on this software. The interesting thing is that the new update is not yet on the official website of the CPU-z software, but it is available on the TechPowerUP website. This update is released under version 2.03.1 and its only change is the support for Intel laptop processors.
The new CPU-z update lists all the expected 45- and 55-watt Raptor Lake laptop processors from the H, HK, and HX series. The fact that these processors are all listed together could also mean that they all come together, which seems a bit strange. In this case, the generation-to-generation upgrade interval of HX desktop class processors reaches less than one year.
List of processors added to CPU-z:
- Intel Core i9-13900HK
- Intel Core i7 13700H/HX
- Intel Core i5-13650HX
- Intel Core i5-13620H
- Intel Core i5-13500H/HX
- Intel Core i5-13450HX
- Intel Core i5-13420H
- Intel Celeron 7305
i7 13700H and i5 13500H spotted on CPU-z for the first time
The CPU-z list also features two new processors – the Core i7 13700H and Core i5 13500H have not been seen in any listings or leaks before, but their HK and HX versions have been spotted a few times before, along with The benchmark results were seen.
Just like AMD’s naming pattern for Ryzen 7000 processors, Intel’s H/HK/HX naming system is a bit confusing for users. Gamers will have a tough choice between flagship HX processors, overclockable HK processors and mid-range H processors.
Intel is going to officially introduce Raptor Lake laptop processors during CES 2023.
