According to the Mehr news agency, quoting the program’s public relations, the first episode of the “Cinema Mellat” series of programs was broadcast on the occasion of the 40th Fajr Film Festival on the evening of February 3, on the Chahar Sima network. In its first part, this program was hosted by Morteza Ali Abbas Mirzaei, the director of the film “Beyro” and Behnam Abolghasempour, the veteran of our country’s football.

Morteza Ali Abbas Mirzaei, the director of “Bi Ro”, which is the first film to be screened at the 40th Fajr Film Festival, described how he became acquainted with the art of cinema: I became interested in cinema with the films I saw as a child. My family was a movie-loving family.

He added: “The film is like life and while watching it we have to go back and look at the past, but we should not look at the past so much that we get miserable.”

The second part of the program was held in the presence of Mehdi Salehi, secretary of the Editing and Spelling Association, and Amir Abdullahzadeh, a university professor. These people are members of the jury for the Persian Literature Prize for the films participating in the 40th Fajr Film Festival.

Mehdi Salehi explained how the judges of the Persian Literature Award for Films work: Some people think that we award literature and poetry, but this is not the case. This award is based on seven principles. For example, one of these principles is people’s mastery of Persian language and vocabulary. For example, we think about how well the actor can handle the language of the film. Many of our actors pause sentences that indicate they are unfamiliar with the language.

The secretary of the Editing and Spelling Association said: Persian, Lori, Kurdish, etc. are Persian languages, but it is important how powerfully we deal with them. We do not pay attention to the capacities of our local dialects. We have neglected these capacities and it seems that there is no one to draw our attention to them.

Abdullahzadeh considered the appropriateness of the film’s speech with the film scene and the element of cinema to be very important in awarding a Persian language prize to a film.

In another part of the program, the judge of the Persian Literature Prize stated: In the opinion of the jury, the selection of specialized words for job or social class is another criterion that indicates the screenwriter’s research to obtain a suitable and correct language.

He said: “Sometimes it is difficult to translate the titles of our country’s movies into other languages, for example, the translation of the title of the movie” Butterfly Swimming “was difficult, and the film director accepted this objection and changed the translation.” The ideal is that if there is ambiguity in a name like butterfly swimming, the translation should be considered as refreshing.

Salehi stated one of the criteria for awarding a Persian language prize to a film as follows: The use of language in films must be logical and logical. Salehi said: “Last year, we were banned from attending the Fajr Film Festival due to some unkindness, but we awarded the film” Indian “at the 37th festival and the film” Sun “at the 38th festival.”

In the third part of the program, Nematullah Saeedi and Saeed Ghotbizadeh criticized the films “Outside” and “The Loser Man”.

Nematullah Saeedi criticized the film “Beer” as follows: I did not hate the film “Beer”, of course, this film was not critical. “Outside” was a breakthrough. It seems that we have a subject crisis in Iranian cinema, that is, directors usually turn to subjects that seem to have suffered a lot because our cinema is against Alken’s existing subjects, but the film “Beyro” has done something new in terms of subject-finding. This film has good positive themes. “Beyro” sometimes approaches the epic aspect of cinema. This film has not forbidden the subject, but in no way has it fulfilled its right.

Saeed Ghotbizadeh considered “Biro” to be a film that has no story and all his situations are in the appearance of Biranvand’s biography. Unlike many sports films made in the world, this film has no creativity, no extravagance.
