Culture Minister’s message to the 38th Fajr Music Festival

According to Fars News Agency, the Minister of Culture sent the following message on the first day of the 38th year of Fajr Music Festival:

“For thirty-eight years, at the same time as the celebrations of the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution, the instruments are tuned and the musical notes of the artists resonate in the presence of those interested in the art of music in our beloved Iran. How beautiful it is to remember the memories of the people of culture and art, side by side with people whose artists in the field of music gave depth and meaning to the magnificent manifestations of this ancient art with revolutionary songs and sounds, and in the history of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, while playing a worthy role, recorded a golden leaf.
The music of Iran, with a rich background and identity and originality, has valuable, enduring works and famous creators, which with different and diverse capacities in its heart has always been one of the best and most effective paths of cultural diplomacy in the international arena, and Fajr Music Festival as a meeting place. The year of the people of music promises promising days for all those who think about the promotion of the culture and art of this border and region, and we hope to witness the increasing progress of music in accordance with the standards of the culture and art of Islamic Iran.
The simultaneous holding of the 38th Fajr Music Festival in Tehran and other provinces can play an effective role in retelling the cultural components and social bonds such as hope, collective vitality and harmony needed by today’s society, especially the young generation. This is an important perspective that is always emphasized and supported by the people’s government in the field of establishing cultural justice.
The warm presence of artists as musical supports with golden paws, Dawoodi songs and the resonance of their pleasant voices and their warm voices from different regions, ethnicities and groups, as well as those interested in this noble art, has been honored in the 38th Fajr Music Festival. I am grateful for the efforts of the Policy Council, the Festival Secretary, the Selection and Judging Committee and my esteemed colleagues, and I wish all my loved ones more and more success.”
