Daily clearance of 530 trucks and 23 thousand pilgrims from Khosravi border

In an interview with Fars news agency economic reporter, Mehdi Abbasian said about the services offered to pilgrims at Khosravi customs: Khosravi border is the only customs border where both commercial goods are cleared and Arbaeen pilgrims and procession vehicles pass through it. .

The manager of Khosravi Customs pointed out: 400 trucks of commercial export cargoes are cleared from Khosravi Customs every day, and 130 trucks were cleared for the equipment of Arbaeen processions. The number of Arbaeen pilgrims exceeded 23,000 in one day.

He said: 527 people on 9 September, 1753 people on 10 September, 2709 people on 11 September, 10 thousand 750 people on 12 September, 5 thousand 556 people on 13 September, 10 thousand people on 14 September, and 23 thousand on 15 September. Some of the pilgrims of Imam Hussain (AS) were sent to Atbat through the Khosravi border.

Abbasian informed: 58 gates (exit gates) have been reserved for pilgrims at Khosravi Customs. Also, 6 scanners, including 4 luggage scanners and 2 pallet scanners, have been provided for pilgrims, and currently 23 thousand pilgrims cross the Khosravi border every day. Today, 20,000 pilgrims crossed the border by 12:00.

Regarding how much time it takes for each pilgrim to leave, he said: Those who initially go to the border cross within a few seconds, but in the end it takes a maximum of half an hour for each person. In the passenger department, 35 of our colleagues provide round-the-clock services. There are 58 gates in the passport section that work in three shifts. About 60 people serve in the terminals. A number of employees provide services in the border cleaning department. About 300 people work in three shifts in the special unit and police forces, and the Khosravi border provides services for the departure of Arbaeen pilgrims from 6 am to 6 pm, but they accept pilgrims 24 hours a day in the entry department.

Abbasian also said: customs formalities of the goods with the passenger are done at the time of departure. Also, the goods of the processions are cleared from the border, and in the case of the exit of medicine and perishable goods, they are the priority exit.
