Emphasizing the need to determine the tasks of these complexes as soon as possible, he said: “Considering the lack of welcome from investors during the past years, we plan to mobilize large holdings such as the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Company, the Oil Industry Pension Fund and Parsian Holdings.” And assign the task of these four petrochemicals in these four regions.
Pointing out that there are upstream projects for gas production, oil production and the first petrochemical complex in Iran in Marvdasht, Fars province, the Minister of Oil added: We consider the chemical plant adjacent to Shiraz Petrochemical Complex as one of our commitments and we promise that the Ministry of Oil, in addition to guaranteeing food, will provide the necessary support to investors in this field.
Oji announced the connection of 100 villages of Fars province to the country’s gas network by the end of this year and emphasized: 440 industrial units and 6 cities will be connected to the country’s gas network this year.
