Dalahu booth of Tanbur national city will be opened in Tehran international exhibition
ToArya Heritage Report quoted the public relations of Kermanshah’s General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, Mohammad Reza Sohaili, on Thursday, January 22, in a meeting with the governor of Dalaho and the mayor and head of the Karandgharb city council, stated: Dalaho city does not need to be praised, it is one of the most comprehensive cities in the province. In terms of tourist attractions, it is cultural heritage and variety of handicrafts.
Director General of Kermanshah’s Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts added: The registration of Dalahu as a national city of tanbur manufacturing along with the capacity of the city’s metal and blacksmith industries has provided the conditions for this city to become a hub of handicrafts.
Referring to the national registration of two intangible heritages of the city last week, such as “Karand Encrypted Lock Making” and “Cradle Veh Kol” ritual, he said: “Karand is an excellent city in all fields, and this shows that people with culture and History and civilization live in this land.
Sohaili added: “Unfortunately, the definition of the tourism route in Dar Dalahu has not been done well, and despite being located in the east-west corridor of the province with proper roads and being located on the path of Atbat Aliat, this special capacity has not been used well.”
Stating that no city in Kermanshah province has the capacity for handicrafts, he said: We are ready to hold special festivals in cooperation with the municipality to introduce the city as much as possible.
Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kermanshah further emphasized: Considering that the National Handicraft Exhibition and the Tehran International Tourism Exhibition are coming up and the Ministry’s emphasis on the participation of national cities in the exhibition, we hope that the Dalaho pavilion will be the national city of Tanbur production with the participation of the municipality and officials. A place should be set up in a special way.
He added: A strong presence in this exhibition, due to the visit of national and international judges, can become the basis for the global registration of Dalhousie as the city of tanbur.
In the end, Soheili stated: According to the consultations, if Karand municipality itself wants to invest in the field of tourism, we can pay for the facilities from the credits of Note 18.
In addition, the governor of Dalhousie city, Kiyomarth Jalilian, said: Dalhousie city is the cradle of art and has outstanding artists in the field of making and playing traditional instruments.
The governor of Dalaho city emphasized: We are making maximum use of the capacity of the Tehran exhibition to introduce the city.
He said: “We are trying to make Dalaho an international brand as the national city of tanbur.”
Jalilian added: There are also many artists working in the field of metal industries in the city, so we should look for a suitable place to supply handicraft products for these artisans.
He said: The entire city has tourism capacity, but it is managed in a traditional way, and suitable accommodation and hospitality facilities should be established in the city.
At the end of this meeting, it was decided to open the pavilion of the National City of Tanbur in the Tehran International Tourism Exhibition with the participation of the Dalahu Municipality and other cultural institutions.
