Decline in construction in the spring of 1400

According to Tejarat News, the construction activities market in Tehran and the country was accompanied by a seasonal decline this spring. The volume of construction of residential units decreased in the spring of this year in the country, while in Tehran, the housing construction market faced a decrease in the activity of builders in the same period.

The latest report of the Statistics Center of Iran on the developments of the construction market in the country and Tehran shows that in the spring of 1400, 11 thousand and 55 residential units in the capital received construction permits, which has decreased by 17.2.2% compared to the previous season – winter .

In the spring of this year, 103,410 residential units received permits for construction in the country, which is a decrease of 24.6% compared to the previous season – winter 99.

Statistics show that the trend of housing construction in Tehran in the spring of 1400 compared to the spring of 99 – the same period last year – has also decreased and the number of housing units built in this season compared to the spring of 99 has decreased by 13.8 percent.

In the country, however, the number of residential units built in the spring of this year compared to the spring of last year has increased slightly and equivalent to 1.2 percent. It was equal to 7 units. This amount is reported in the country equal to 1/3 residential units in each residential building.

The number of building permits issued for the city of Tehran in the spring of 1400 has decreased by 22.7% compared to the winter of 99 and by 16.8% compared to the spring of 99. In the country, the number of building permits issued in the first three months of this year has decreased by 27.9% compared to winter 99 and 7.6% compared to spring 99.
