Deprivation of culture, through the screening of cinema films in the most remote areas of the country

According to Fars news agency’s film reporter, Salman Nasiri, discussed the missions of this institute and said: The foundation of the Ravino institute is based on two main needs, i.e. maximum and effective dissemination of content and finally commercialization of content, and it has been tried in this direction. To use the capacities of the content, media and marketing elites. Naturally, to meet the mentioned needs, different sub-brands should be created in specialized areas and long-term planning should be considered for each of those sub-brands.
He stated: “One of the sub-brands that has been seriously active in the Ravino Institute is the Ravi Film Center, which has emerged independently in the field of films and documentaries, and many other cities are familiar with his name. The task of this center is to screen movies on mobile in areas without cinemas and underprivileged areas. Creating the necessary infrastructure, facilities for showing movies and documentaries, as well as a highly professional technical team that makes it impossible to hack the system of showing movies, are among the significant assets of this center.
The scope of activities of the film narrator includes all provinces, cities and even villages. This center is ready to provide services to those who are interested by having portable equipment for showing movies of the day, so that with the equipment of Ravi Film Center, we can have special and exclusive screenings in different places and spaces. Of course, the screening priority for this collection is screening in deprived and underserved areas.
Nasiri, supporting screenings in the culturally deprived areas of the country, showing movies in areas where there are no cinemas, special screenings of films for universities, institutions, etc., identifying and equipping theaters and amphitheaters across the country, predicting a suitable platform for showing In addition to cinematographic works, activists and film-making enthusiasts in various fields (acting, filming, sound recording) and the creation of an information portal and a mobile screening system are among the goals of this center.
The CEO of Ravino Institute emphasized: “We prioritized a list of the most deprived provinces in terms of cultural content distribution, and before the screening teams are sent to these provinces, meetings and consultations and communications are formed in this direction, so that based on those plans; The screening of each of the deprived areas should be formed. Also, to advance our goals, we coordinate with Basij bases, mosques and schools, barracks and even welfare centers.”
Nasiri added: “Currently, the provinces of Golestan, North Khorasan, Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Ilam, Bushehr, Hormozgan, Sistan and Baluchistan, Fars, West and East Azerbaijan, Qom, Kerman, Lorestan and Khuzestan have screened movies in the past year. The level of acceptance of the films and documentaries shown has been such that even after a month or two of the screening in each of these cities, there is a strong demand for the presence of the Ravi film screening teams again.
Pointing out that DCP and the devices used for the screening are very safe, he added: “The device that screens the film in the cinema is highly secure, and this feature allows us to interact with the producer and Let’s release films on the cinema screen and send documentary films to deprived areas without cinemas. To carry out this mission, before sending the team, we will try to conduct negotiations in this field in order to select documentary films for screening in accordance with that province or regions; For example, we screened the movie “Gharib” in Kurdistan. We do the same for documentaries. The screening of Gharib movie in Abider Forest Park in Sanandaj was one of the rarest cultural events in this city, because more than 450 families of Sanandaj could watch Gharib movie under the title of an open-air cinema. In fact, this show had broken the record of showing a movie in an outdoor cinema with this size. Amirieh Park, located in Abidar Forest Park in Sanandaj, has a 12- to 25-meter screen, which is considered to be the largest open-air cinema in the country.
He added: “Ravino Institute has received various letters of appreciation from various institutions and organizations in order to remove cultural deprivation through mobile screens, which can be considered unique in this respect.”
Salman Nasiri continued: “We have started a serious activity in the Ravi film collection to increase the number of screening devices to the point where we have increased their number to 200 broadcasting and screening devices. These 200 devices can provide a large screening network for areas without cinemas, but if we want to look at this issue seriously, this number does not meet all needs considering the size of the country. Also, we designed a security system in the form of software, which is a very valuable and unique work.”
He continued: “We have reduced the cost of screening by launching this software, and in the form of social responsibility, we are doing mobile screening from the income of the institute, but if we have a representative in the provinces and deprived areas who will do the screening themselves, the costs will be reduced.” It will be more impressive. With this method, we made the mass screening experience attainable.”
Regarding the security of Ravi Film screening platform, he added: “Due to the leak of some films during mobile screening, some producers, especially the private sector, are not willing to accept the risk of screening their films on mobile, and previous experience in some films causes to increase this uncertainty. In this regard, the screening platform designed by the Ravi Film Center has passed all the basic hacking and penetration tests as well as preventing any copying, and it can be said that it is almost impossible to leak any movies through this platform. This has caused some producers to gain the necessary confidence in the meetings and surrounding interactions regarding the correctness and safety of this platform.
The CEO of Ravino Institute stated that we started setting up provincial branches from the beginning of the second half of this year and said: “These provincial branches are for the purpose of exploiting the capacity of the provinces themselves; That is, instead of sending the screening team to that province, we will use the capacity and capability of the province’s own technical team for the screening. Naturally, exploiting the province’s capacity brings with it the creation of income in addition to job opportunities. Khorasan Razavi branches have already been set up and the representatives are known. Also, four to five provinces are under evaluation and we have to check the environment and space as well as the capacity of these provinces in person and then determine the representative. As diverse as Ravino’s missions are, working in those branches is hard and complicated in addition to being attractive, and this can define a lot of work. Golestan, Bushehr, Kohgilouye and Boyerahmad and East Azarbaijan are the provinces that applied for this important event and nominated people for this.”
