According to the report of Mehr News Agency, quoted by Sputnik News Agency, the European Union, in a hostile act and in violation of the United Nations Charter on the necessity of non-interference in the internal affairs of independent countries, put 18 Iranian individuals and 19 institutions on its sanctions list.

According to the representative of the Austrian government in the European Union, European countries have added 37 Iranian individuals and institutions to the list of sanctions in their latest anti-Iranian action.

Also, Joseph Burrell, the head of the foreign policy of the European Union, a few hours ago, referring to the unreasonable request of the European Parliament from the European Union to put the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on the so-called “terrorist” list, said: “We cannot give such a label to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps without a court decision in the European Union.” let’s hit

Burrell added before the EU foreign ministers’ meeting in Brussels: “You can’t make such a decision without a court’s decision, and a court must make such a decision first.” We cannot call someone a terrorist because we don’t like him.

He added that before the European Union takes action, a court in one of the EU member states must issue an undisputed and definite legal ruling on this matter.

Last week, the European Parliament voted to put the IRGC on the so-called terrorist list.

This is while the Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country emphasized that “We have said many times that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is an official and sovereign institution that has played and continues to play an important and vital role in ensuring Iran’s national security and the security of the region, especially in the fight against terrorism. And the action of the European Parliament in accusing this security-creating institution of being a terrorist is a kind of shooting in Europe’s own foot.”
