According to Tejarat News, Mahmoud Mahmoudzadeh, Deputy Minister of Housing and Construction of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, explained in detail the implementation and success of the National Housing Movement project.

Mahmoudzadeh also explained about the facilitation of the registration conditions of the National Housing Movement plan: it is planned to facilitate two conditions of the registration conditions, including the history of ownership and the history of residence in the registration conditions of the applicants. Previously, the ownership history was more than 16 years, which is reduced to 5 years, and the residence history in all cities except Tehran will be reduced to one year.
He also announced the possibility of extending the registration deadline for the National Housing Movement plan based on the people’s demand and said: “In cities that will be added to the previous statistics, registration will be done within the appropriate time limit, but in cities that have already been registered, it is possible.” This time should not be added so that we can refine the applicants’ registrations and inform the applicants of the results.
Mahmoudzadeh regarding the organization of the rental market and the process of reviewing and approving the professional leasing regulations, announced: The professional leasing regulations are under review in the government infrastructure commissions. If the task is assigned, it will come to the government and will be enforceable.
Mahmoudzadeh also said in a meeting with the general managers of roads and urban planning: “Currently, there are more than 950,000 units ready to receive facilities in the banking system, and we hope that the process of providing facilities to housing applicants will accelerate with the help of banks.”
He also reminded that according to the latest statistics, more than 2 million people registered in the system of the National Housing Movement, and the highest amount of participation was related to Tehran, which included the registration of 359 thousand units in Tehran.
