According to Tejarat News, Mehrdad Bazarpash added in the specialized meeting of the National Housing Movement with the presence of national and provincial managers and relevant officials who make decisions and play a role in the housing sector in the provinces across the country: Today, about the decisions made and the performances in different departments and assignment Mehr Housing and the capacities that help the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development in the field of preparation and assistance to the national movement project were discussed and opinions were exchanged that all projects will be reviewed in several sections.
He continued: One sector is the provision of land, which by observing its condition, there is a good growth, and today with more than 51 thousand hectares, 15 thousand hectares are in the form of new settlements and the rest are in the area of annexation, a significant leap has been made. .
He continued: 92 new towns are also on the agenda and some of them have been approved in the province, of course, the approval process will be done with all aspects and considerations in mind, and this process will continue rapidly until the end of the year.
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development stated: In the sectors of supportive housing, dilapidated housing, self-ownership, etc., it will be completed in different phases with different improvements by the end of the year.
Bazarpash mentioned the main indicators that intensify the construction, namely the applicant and bank facilities and said: Banks have so far grown by 21% in commitment, but it is not enough and cannot bring us to an acceptable point.
He reminded: The meetings of the Supreme Housing Council are held regularly with the presence of the president and good resolutions have been approved. Also, with the help of various inspection teams, we have had many joint meetings with the Central Bank to speed up the construction operation in the remaining five to six months until the end of the year.
Completion of 105,000 Mehr houses and determination of other projects
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development stated: We tried to cover the gaps through different land clearing methods. Also, efforts are being made to determine the obligations of Mehr housing, in this regard, we have completed 105 thousand residential units, and those with a higher percentage of progress are being tried to be completed as quickly as possible.
Necessity to comply with the law of jump of housing production in free zones
Referring to the follow-up of the approvals of the Supreme Housing Council and the interactions related to the field of road and urban development regarding the lands of free zones such as Kish and Qeshm islands, he said: Free zones have special laws, but the mother law is the law of jump in housing production, which is current and ongoing everywhere. .
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development said: “In some provinces, we have a problem with land supply, such as mountainous areas or agricultural lands such as Kurdistan, Ilam and Lorestan, where it is decided to cover a part through new settlements that are in the vicinity of cities, as well as rural areas.”
Provision of 500,000 plots of land in villages across the country by the end of the year
Referring to the construction of towns and villages that are within the boundaries of cities, he stated: We will prepare 500,000 plots of land in villages across the country by the end of the year, and this is our new line of effort.
Bazarpash explained: The preparation of the land on the scale of millions is a large and detailed project and requires a lot of financial resources, and this year a part of it was handed over to Khatam al-Anbia camp, Imam Hassan camp and municipalities, and this caused the preparation operation to speed up. .
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development also said about the people’s support: the applicants inject confidence and support towards the progress of the projects.
Growth of production and reduction of inflation by providing housing
He continued: We have two goals in the country; The growth of production and reduction of inflation, which is the contribution of wider supply of land and housing to reduce inflation, and this issue requires financial resources.
According to Bazerpash, production growth is also related to housing, and if economic institutions are looking for production growth and increasing the GDP growth rate, this production growth will pass through housing, and we ask the banks to do this by injecting resources.
Regarding the speed of the national movement and the role of the mass builders, he said: The national housing movement means that all the components that play a role in construction should be ready to work, and in this regard, it has been planned to bring various groups, including the mass builders and other institutions and groups. The rules of monetary and non-monetary participation have also been notified to the provinces to motivate them.
Bazarpash explained about the supply of construction materials and the price of land: in the projects of the National Housing Movement, the price of land has become almost zero, and the cost of construction is related to the materials, and the president also demanded a reduction in the total price in this area.
He added: Steel and cement make up the majority of the materials, and every day the delay for these two to leave the stock market is a source of loss, and this matter has been expertly examined. Also, in the area of the finished price of housing, the taxes of municipalities and insurance were also reduced to a significant extent. On the other hand, the price of tolls and construction insurance is also minimal. The national housing movement means the participation of all parts of the country, which we hope will reach the destination correctly with the cooperation of all organizations and different parts.
