Also, despite the prevailing conditions in the country following the outbreak of coronavirus, 23 tourism index projects were inaugurated in the province during the last year, including 12 projects, including hotels, eco-lodges, tourism complexes, restaurants, restaurants and cafeterias. He mentioned 11 projects dedicated to agricultural tourism in Ahar city. Among the tourism investment projects of the province, which were inaugurated this year with the presence of the Minister of Cultural Heritage, we can mention Helia Tourism Complex, Arsi Boutique Hotel, Yale Sui Ahar Hydrotherapy Complex, Imani Restaurant, Zanuz Tourism Complex, Diamonds and Sahand Esco Ecotourism Complex. .
Due to the importance of benefiting from new methods in tourism development, this general office has produced more than 100 360-degree video clips, produced 20 motion graphics and infomass titles, and produced 200 graphic posters for social networks of historical and cultural attractions. Considering that the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of East Azerbaijan considers holding training courses and empowering stakeholders in this field as one of the important ways to increase the quality of services, professional relationship with recipients of tourism services, so following the importance of education in tourism development, The province’s cultural heritage has held 37 training courses from October 1999 to October this year. Also, due to the importance of the activity of professional tourism facilities in the development of the tourism industry, during the mentioned period, 9 licenses for the activities of tourism facilities, including hotels, apartment hotels and ecotourism hotels, have been issued.
From September of 1999 to October of this year, in order to monitor the performance of active tourism units, 4,000 visits were made 24 hours a day by the supervisors of the tourism committee of the province. Due to the special circumstances following the outbreak of Covid-19 and the request of several travel service offices to stop operating due to the prevailing conditions, after investigations by members of the provincial tourism technical committee, it was agreed to close 80 travel services offices and tourism complex. Over the past year, 830 warnings and 80 written warnings have been issued to tourism facilities.
