Development of Kyrgyz firefighting equipment with the help of Russia


According to the correspondent of regional offices of Fars News Agency, Russia donated firefighting equipment to Kyrgyzstan in the form of humanitarian aid.

Also, this country will soon donate 40 units of firefighting equipment and another Mi-8 helicopter.

“Sadir Jabaraf”, the president of Kyrgyzstan, announced this at the ceremony of donating special equipment and new buses in the city of “Bishkek”.

He continued: In addition to the 100 units of special fire fighting equipment that will be donated today, recently 2 modern helicopters, 58 fire engines, 81 units of engineering equipment and 34 units of various types of equipment have been purchased.

Jabaraf added: 40 units of firefighting equipment and a Mi-8 helicopter will soon be imported from Russia in the form of aid worth about 20 million dollars, after which we can talk about the complete equipment of the country’s firefighting.
